Our EMTS, paramedics and marketing managers know that a good experience with medical transport goes beyond excellent medical care and extends to excellent customer service to patients and facility staff. Our motto is: “We will inconvenience ourselves for the convenience of our customers.” Every one of our staff lives by this motto.
Medshore also provides in-service training to facilities that updates staff on the ever-changing regulations and reimbursement models of Medicare and Medicaid to ensure that patients have the most up-to-date information.

Medshore has more experience in serving communities with emergency 9-1-1 service than any other private ambulance service in the state. Medshore has been the exclusive emergency medical services partner of Anderson County for more than 30 years and also provides Barnwell and Chesterfield counties with emergency 9-1-1.
Medshore was an early adopter of System Status Management, a process which allows management to analyze data to predict the demand at any given location and proactively assign ambulances to anticipate the need and meet demand. System Status Management allows Medshore to always meet the emergency call demand and uniformly achieve faster response times with significantly lower operating costs. Lower operating cost means lower cost to the communities and our customers.
Medshore Ambulance provides coverage for hundreds of events each year from community festivals and parades to sporting events and concerts.
Our EMTs and paramedics provide first-aid and standby emergency ambulance services for events of all sizes, from small local gatherings to large-scale sports arenas and entertainment venues. Supervised by licensed paramedics and EMTs, we utilize our Explorer and reserve program participants to expand coverage at your event to be sure there all attendees are monitored and a medically trained representative is ready to quickly respond to any medical need.
For special event coverage, we offer event plans with ALS and BLS ambulance, critical care units, 4×4 gator vehicles and helicopters customized to meet the needs of your event.

Is your facility or community prepared for a natural disaster or mass casualty incident? Though we hope our disaster plans are never needed in the communities we serve, you need a partner with the resources, personnel and experience to move your patients safely when an emergency happens at a medical facility.
Medshore develops disaster plans and routinely leads and participates in mass casualty and evacuation drills at facilities and communities involving community partners and first responder agencies, as well as conducts critiques of its response to both drills and real incidents.
Medshore’s strike teams is one of the most knowledgeable in the county with direct experience in evacuating thousands of patients and treating community members in Hurricanes Andrew, Floyd, Ivan, Katrina, Rita, Gustav, Ike, and Irene. Our strike team was one of only four teams selected to provide coverage at the 2009 Presidential Inauguration.
