Since 1939, Kunkel Ambulance has provided excellent emergency and nonemergency ambulance services in the City of Utica and Oneida County in the Mohawk Valley of Upstate New York. We also provide mutual aid service to a large portion of Oneida and Herkimer counties.
For three generations of the Kunkel family, Kunkel Ambulance has contributed to the public health and safety of residents in the Mohawk Valley, and the company will continue to raise the standard of clinical care in medical transport.
Every Kunkel ambulance is staffed with highly skilled certified paramedics and EMTs who are trained in the latest lifesaving technology and emergency protocols. Kunkel vehicles are completely stocked with the latest equipment, including Zoll cardiac monitoring systems.
We cooperate closely with local hospitals to take care of our community. We transmit EKG cardiac readings to the hospital emergency departments in advance to ensure they are prepared for the arrival of a cardiac patient before our ambulance arrives in the bay.
Kunkel Ambulance has been a part of the Mohawk Valley community for 75 years, and we understand we serve the community best when we support causes and events that matter to those who live here. Our community is our No. 1 priority.
When you or your loved one experience a medical emergency, call on Kunkel for the best possible medical care.
Kunkel Ambulance is a regional branch of Priority Ambulance, a national ambulance network.
