“The Indiana State Fairgrounds welcomes millions of visitors each year for a range of events and entertainment,” said Matt Bruskotter, Director of Safety & Security, Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. “We are committed to our guests having positive, impactful experiences at the Fairgrounds throughout the year. An important part of that is making sure we are prepared to address any medical needs or emergencies. We have selected a partner in Seals Ambulance with the experience, skilled personnel and customer service training to ensure every attendee is safe and protected.”
Seals Ambulance began providing coverage to events beginning in January 2018 and through two options for extensions, will serve as the first aid and medical services provider through 2020.
Seals Ambulance will develop an emergency medical coverage plan during any time when facilities on the Fairgrounds are in use. Teams of EMTs and paramedics will be provided with a golf cart to quickly access any area of the 250-acre grounds. In case of emergencies, Seals Ambulance will provide on-scene medical care while coordinating ambulance transport with the City of Indianapolis.
