Priority Ambulance announced today that Gladys Goodson, a Georgia-based human resources professional with focused experience in talent recruitment and HR service center management, has joined the company as Southeast Regional Human Resources Manager.

Gladys worked for 10 years as an EMT prior to entering HR, and that insight into our industry and workforce will be critical to serving our employees.”
In her new role, Goodson will support Priority Ambulance’s Southeast Region team in all human resources functions, including recruiting, onboarding, HR information services, payroll, performance management, employee relations and compliance. Goodson will oversee all HR functions for the company’s Southeast Region operations in East Tennessee and Georgia, which includes 1,100 employees at Priority Ambulance, Central EMS, Puckett EMS and National EMS.
Prior to joining Priority Ambulance, Goodson served as HR Service Center Supervisor for XPO Logistics, a top 10 global logistics company, in Atlanta. Prior to that experience, she spent several years dedicated to talent recruiting at companies including PruittHealth Corporation, First Data Corporation and Fiserv, Inc. From 2009-20013, Goodson worked at NCR Corporation in Duluth, Georgia, in various capacities, including HR Service Center Supervisor. She is a graduate of Kennesaw State University in Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Goodson is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional.
